We use your information to provide and maintain the Warrantee service, send warranty expiry notifications, process claims, improve our platform, and communicate with you about service updates.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with sellers when you initiate a warranty claim, and with service providers who assist in operating our platform, subject to contractual privacy and security obligations.
5. Document and OCR Processing
When you upload a receipt, invoice, or warranty document, Warrantee may send the document to configured document-processing providers, including Mistral AI or an optional OCR provider, to extract text and prepare warranty details for your review. Processing may occur outside your country. OCR results are assisted drafts and should be confirmed before a warranty is issued.

8. Data Retention

Warranty, claim, payment, and audit records may be retained to preserve the product history and resolve disputes. Raw email content and OCR text are redacted after the configured operational retention period, and completed webhook and API usage events are deleted on a bounded schedule.
